Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education (LAE) – Our partner for the implementation of the Workplace Safety Strategy as well as responsible for delivering effective and efficient regulatory management for the protection of the health and safety of Nova Scotians.

Workers' Advisers Program (WAP) - A legal clinic funded by the provincial government offering services to injured workers.

Workers' Compensation AppealsTribunal (WCAT) - An independent tribunal which hears and decides appeals from final decisions of the Workers' Compensation Board.

Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) – promotes workplace health and safety, and encourages attitudes and methods that will lead to improved worker physical and mental health, through a wide range of products and services. 

Threads of Life - Helping families affected by workplace fatalities, life-altering injuries and occupational disease along their journey of healing.

Office of the Employer Advisor - Assists businesses and associations through advocacy, advice, navigation assistance, and training with the end goal of developing a healthy and safe workplace.

Office of the Worker Counsellor - Offers advice and assistance to injured workers and their family members on all aspects of workers' compensation in the province.
